One of our favourite bands in the world right now is the amazingly named FOXY SHAZAM. Take all the best bits of Queen, Meat Loaf, My Chemical Romance, and The Darkness, and you're maybe 10% towards defining the sheer brilliance of Foxy Shazam, and their flamboyant frontman Eric Nally.
The band were in the UK earlier in the year, supporting both Hole and Lostprophets, as well as performing at Leeds and Reading festivals - and we are delighted that they are coming back at the beginning of November for a week long tour. We've got our tickets already, and thanks to Kilimanjaro we can offer a pair of tickets to the London show at the Borderline on November 8th to a lucky Criminal Damage.co.uk customer. We guarantee this intimate gig will become an 'I was there' moment in the future, so even if you are not lucky enough to win tickets, we suggest you attend by any means neccessary!
Don't just take our word for it - here's what the music press have been saying about Foxy Shazam and their new self-titled album.
“Bombastic genius... the sheer magnitude is inspired” Kerrang!
“An album packed full of hits 5/5” Alter The Press
“If this album fails to have you dancing round your bedroom, or at least posing, pouting and belting the songs out in front of your bathroom mirror, then music just ain’t for you. Go read a book! 10/10” Loud Horizon
“Dizzying and grandiose… Decadent, flamboyant and camp as hell, it’s hard to deny the oddly appealing impression this leaves” Rock Sound
